How did it start?: My Dad bought a Waterski boat in 2006 and as soon as I strapped on a Wakeboard behind it, I couldn't stop thinking about anything else.
What advice would you give anyone starting out?: Learn all the basics first to build up on a solid foundation. Spend as much time on the water as possible and never forget to have Fun doing it.

Favorite Place to Ride: In the summer I prefer to ride at the Wake Factory (Lake of Lugano) and in the off season is Lake Conway in Orlando my favorite place.
What Tunes are you currently listening to before or when riding: Old School Hip Hop or some gangster rap gets me hyped.
Favorite Food: Mexican
Which Rider(s) Inspire(s) you: There are a bunch of riders that inspire me but Massi Piffaretti and Gunner Daft are for sure my biggest inspirations.
Best Career Moment: Competing with the best riders in the World at the Malibu Evolution Pro Vienna
An ideal day in you Malibu Consists of: Flat lake, warm water, big wake, a solid crew and as much wakeboarding and wakesurfing as possible.
Plans for 2018: I’ll mostly focus on my Wakeboard school but also compete and free ride as much as possible.
Interesting fact most people do not know about you: My foreign friends call me Marusko because they have trouble pronouncing Maurus right..hahaa
Your Review of your current Malibu Ride, why you like it: Most important for me is a good wake with a nice long transition exactly like my 22MXZ provides. I also like the good quality and how user friendly these boats are.
Personal Statement: Sometimes less is more, go big and focus on style.
